Kanha Loka at a glance

Kanha Loka is the family boat among the three. She has 7 cabins, carries up to 22 guests on the shared trip and sails with a crew of 7. Between her restaurant and bar area, her sun deck and a lounge deck, a family or a reunion has space to spread out.

Three limits first. A balcony on the Deluxe Ocean View is confirmed in writing before you pay. The Sharing Cabin relies on 2 bathrooms outside the cabin. And the decks of the Master, Deluxe and Family cabins are confirmed in writing, not guessed. Within those limits, Loka has the lower private-cabin fares of the two larger boats, starting at IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) per person for a Superior Lower Deck cabin on the shared trip.

Seven cabins from the Master Ocean View to the Sharing Cabin

There is a single Master Ocean View, with a bathroom, a balcony and an extra bed. The two Deluxe Ocean View cabins each list a bathroom and an extra bed. The Family Ocean View sleeps 4 guests and has a balcony, a bathroom and an extra bed of its own.

Two Superior Lower Deck cabins hold 2 guests each, with a bathroom and no extra bed. Down on the lower deck, the Sharing Cabin sleeps 8 in 4 double beds. Six cabins in total have their own bathroom, and all of them have air conditioning and hot water. Bed sizes, apart from the Sharing Cabin's double beds, are confirmed in writing before you pay.

The Family Ocean View: four guests, balcony, own bathroom

It suits parents with two children, or two couples travelling together. It sleeps 4, has a balcony, and keeps its bathroom inside. Across all three boats, Loka is the only one to list a private cabin for 4.

It costs IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) per person, with 4 guests the minimum on the shared trip, the same fare as the Superior Lower Deck cabins. Under-threes, aged 0 to 2, travel free; from 3, children pay the full fare. A family of three can take a Deluxe Ocean View instead and use its extra bed.

Restaurant, bar area, sun deck and lounge deck

Loka has a restaurant and bar area and a sun deck, along with bean bags, a Bluetooth sound system and karaoke. Her catalogue photographs also show a lounge deck with cushioned seats.

Each guest has a bath and pool towel, shampoo and soap, snorkelling gear and a life jacket, and there is a first-aid kit aboard. Citta lists the same bar area. Natha does not, and that is what steers friends who want a drink on deck towards Loka or Citta.

On the same 3D2N, Loka undercuts Citta at each private-cabin level, and her Master Ocean View costs less than Gayatri. She has one cabin fewer than Citta. She also has the Family Ocean View, which neither sister can offer. With the same 22 guests and the same bar area on both larger boats, the real decision is Gayatri or the family cabin.

Choose Citta or Natha when…

  • You want the master room with a private balcony and lively evenings at the bar, and the top fare does not put you off: Kanha Citta, where Gayatri costs IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) per person.
  • You are 12 or fewer, nobody needs a cabin for 4, and a quiet boat appeals more than a family one: Kanha Natha, capped at 12 and without a bar area. The whole of her for 12 guests comes to IDR 60,720,000 (≈ USD 3,725).
  • You want the Sharing Cabin's bathroom inside rather than two outside: Kanha Citta, whose Sharing Cabin has 1 bathroom inside, at IDR 4,800,000 (≈ USD 294) per bed.
