Twelve cabin types on three boats

Kanha Citta has 4 cabin types, Kanha Loka 5 and Kanha Natha 3, so 12 in all. Every type carries a single per-person fare for the 3D2N shared trip, and that fare pays for the bed, meals, the guide and the documentation.

In the trade this is an open trip: a set Friday, other guests on board, a fare per head. The block below lists each cabin with its own fare, so you can read across all three boats without opening three pages. Fares are in rupiah, per person, and cover the full 3D2N rather than a single night.

How each sister names her cabins

Each sister has her own vocabulary for much the same rooms. Citta calls her master room Gayatri, her two upper-deck deluxe cabins Shakti and Sedana, and her four main-deck cabins Deluxe Main Deck. Loka works in Ocean Views: Master, Deluxe and Family. Natha has two Private Ocean View cabins, one with a balcony, the other opening straight onto the sun deck.

Balconies are scarce: Gayatri on Citta, the Master and Family Ocean Views on Loka, and one of Natha's two Private Ocean Views. A balcony on the Deluxe Ocean View is confirmed in writing before you pay. On Loka, the two Superior Lower Deck cabins take 2 guests each and have no extra bed. Each Sharing Cabin puts its guests in a shared space, and the carousel shows how the beds sit. If you want a balcony, say so in your first message, since each boat places hers in a different cabin at a different fare.

Two guests per cabin, and when a third can join

Private cabins are sold to a minimum of 2 guests, at a fare per person. Where a cabin has an extra bed, a third guest can join at a set fare. On Citta, Gayatri and the Shakti and Sedana cabins show IDR 5,400,000 per person for that third guest. Loka's Master, Deluxe and Family Ocean Views show IDR 5,100,000. On Natha, the two Private Ocean Views show IDR 4,500,000.

Some cabins take no extra bed at all: Citta's Deluxe Main Deck and Sharing Cabin, Loka's Superior and Sharing Cabin, and both of Natha's Sharing Cabins. Loka's Family Ocean View is meant for 4, and on the shared trip it is booked by 4 guests. Children aged 0 to 2 travel free; from 3 the full fare applies.

What a Friday fare covers

Your Friday fare pays for a bed for 3 days and 2 nights, meals aboard, free-flow coffee and tea, a mineral drink, shampoo, soap and a towel, the local guide, and photo and video documentation. Snorkelling gear and life jackets are on the boat. Pickup is around 09:00 on day 1 from your hotel or the airport, with drop-off around 12:00 on day 3.

Outside the fare: the Komodo National Park ticket, drinks and snacks beyond the free-flow coffee and tea, tips for the crew and guide, travel insurance, flights and hotel nights. Park fees are paid separately and do change, and the park fees page carries the current rates. Fares are as listed on the 2026 rate cards; 2027 fares on request.

A cabin seat or the whole boat: where the line crosses

Past a certain head count, chartering the whole boat costs less per person than a seat in a private cabin. On Kanha Natha the crossover comes at 9 guests: IDR 6,750,000 (≈ USD 414) each for the boat, against IDR 7,200,000 (≈ USD 442) for a Private Ocean View. Kanha Loka crosses at 13 guests, IDR 8,330,000 (≈ USD 511) each, against IDR 8,400,000 (≈ USD 515) for the Master Ocean View. On Kanha Citta it takes 14 guests, IDR 8,660,000 (≈ USD 531) each, against IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) for Gayatri.

A Sharing Cabin bed never gets overtaken; it stays the cheapest seat whatever the head count. Keep in mind what changes alongside the price. A private charter leaves out the guide and the documentation, while the shared fare includes both. Add those quotes first, then compare the two totals like for like. The tables below divide every whole-boat total by the actual head count.

The Kanha edit: one cabin for each kind of party

A couple who want a balcony with a sociable crowd around them: Gayatri, on Citta. Four people in one room with their own bathroom: Loka's Family Ocean View. Two friends after a quiet boat and a private cabin that opens onto the sun deck: Natha's Private Ocean View with sun deck access.

One traveller happy to share: a Sharing Cabin bed, and the fare shown is all the bed costs. You share these cabins with other guests, and the bathrooms differ from boat to boat: 1 inside the cabin on Citta, 2 outside on Loka, 1 outside on Natha. Ask us which Friday still has beds in the cabin you like.

FAQ

How many guests must book a private cabin on the shared trip?

Private cabins take a minimum of 2 guests, at a fare per person. Kanha Loka's Family Ocean View is a cabin for 4 and needs 4 guests on the shared trip. Sharing Cabins are sold by the bed, so a solo traveller can book a single one.

Can a third person share a private cabin?

Yes, where the cabin has an extra bed: Gayatri and the Shakti and Sedana cabins on Citta, the Master, Deluxe and Family Ocean Views on Loka, and both Private Ocean Views on Natha. Cabins with no extra bed hold 2 guests and no more.

What does the cabin fare include?

A bed for 3 days and 2 nights, meals aboard, free-flow coffee and tea, a mineral drink, shampoo, soap and a towel, the local guide and documentation. Not included: the park ticket, tips, drinks and snacks, insurance, flights and hotels.

Will I share a cabin with strangers?

Only if you book a Sharing Cabin. On Citta and Loka it sleeps up to 8 guests; Natha has two, with 4 in each. A private cabin is for you alone or for the people you booked with. Each cabin page describes how the Sharing Cabin bathrooms work on that boat.

Do children pay for a cabin?

Children aged 0 to 2 sail free. From 3 they pay the full fare in whatever cabin they sleep in. A family of 4 with two children fits Kanha Loka's Family Ocean View, which has its own balcony and bathroom, at a single fare per person.

Are fares for 2027 available?

The fares shown are those on the 2026 rate cards. 2027 fares are on request. Message us your month and party size and we reply with the card.
