Shared Komodo trip: Friday departures

Each date on the calendar belongs to a single boat and shows whether any cabins are left. One sister can be full on a given Friday while another still has beds, so if your date is fixed but your cabin is not, we will suggest two boats.

With just 12 beds, Natha has the fewest seats on any date. Citta and Loka take up to 22 guests each, so they offer more. The calendar has the final say. Nothing is yours until we confirm the cabin in writing, before you pay: use the calendar to look, and the confirmation to rely on.

Every date shown is priced as listed on the 2026 rate cards.

For anyone coming from Bali or Lombok, the easiest way to catch the Friday sailing is to land in Labuan Bajo on Thursday. From Bali the flight takes about 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes; timetables shift, so check your airline's current schedule before booking, and note that we do not list fares. A Thursday night in a Labuan Bajo hotel takes the risk out of the morning, with pickup around 09:00 on day 1.

On Sunday the boat is back around 12:00. A flight home after 14:00 leaves time for the drive to the airport, lunch and a goodbye without hurry. Thursday to Sunday, four days in all. No Kanha boat departs from Bali or Lombok; the flight is your part of the plan, not ours.

Shared trips leave on Fridays and no other day. If your party needs a Wednesday, a Sunday or a date next March, you want a private charter: it can begin on any date agreed in writing and is priced for the whole boat.

2027 dates and rates are on request; the prices here are those on the 2026 cards. Tell us the month and how many of you there are, and you will be among the first to hear. Solo travellers are welcome as well: private cabins are priced per person with a minimum of 2 guests, but a Sharing Cabin goes by the bed, so one person can still sail on a Friday.

Whether a boat leaves is decided by the weather and the harbour master. Their decision reaches you the moment it reaches us. Changing the route for the weather, for instance taking the stops in a different order, does not count as a cancellation: the 3 days still run, with no fee. The captain decides on the day how the route will go, and the order shifts with the sea. Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day.

If a breakdown, or an order from the harbour master or the park, stops the boat from sailing, you move to a phinisi of equal or better standard on the same dates, at no extra cost. You can choose a full refund within 14 days instead.
