Kanha Phinisi fleet (Kanha Citta, Kanha Loka, Kanha Natha)
Komodo in two days and one night
Updated 23 October 2026
A Komodo tour 2 days 1 night is a private charter on Kanha Citta, Loka or Natha; Kanha Natha for up to 4 guests costs IDR 39,480,000 (≈ USD 2,422) for the whole boat. The shared trip is 3D2N only, so two days means taking the boat for your own party.
Who a Komodo tour 2 days 1 night suits
Six friends with a long weekend. A couple of families who already share a villa in Bali and want the same boat. A party of 12 that cannot take a third day off work. The short charter belongs to parties that have chosen their own company and want a compact version of the route.
It does not belong to a guest travelling alone or in a pair who wants to meet strangers. No shared 2D1N is sold; the shared trip is 3 days and 2 nights, every Friday, and a single traveller books a private cabin there (minimum 2 guests) or a Sharing Cabin bed.
The choice of boat follows the party. Kanha Natha sleeps up to 12 and is the quiet one. Kanha Citta and Kanha Loka hold up to 22 on a shared trip; on a private charter they are priced to 10 guests with a per-guest add-on up to 20.
The Kanha edit. For 4 to 8 friends who want the boat to themselves: Kanha Natha. For a gathering of 14 to 20: Kanha Loka or Kanha Citta.
Day 1 and day 2 on a private 2D1N
The 3D2N is the only route with a fixed stop list. The 2D1N below is a sample built from the same stops; the captain and our team confirm the stops and their order in writing before you pay.
Day 1 follows the opening of the 3D2N. You board after pickup from your hotel or the airport, and lunch is served on board. The sample then calls at Kelor for the hill walk and a swim and snorkels at Manjarite. It closes with Kalong at dusk, when the flying foxes leave the mangrove. Dinner is on board.
Day 2 opens with the Padar ridge walk, the first stop of the day, so a head torch and shoes with grip go in the day bag. Pink Beach follows for a swim and snorkel, then the Komodo walk with a ranger. The boat then returns to Labuan Bajo and the transfer to your hotel is arranged.
Where the boat spends the night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day.

What two days leaves out: Manta Point, Sebayur, Taka Makassar
Compared with the 3D2N, three stops drop away: Manta Point, Sebayur and Taka Makassar. They are the snorkelling-heavy half of the route, which is why a party that came for the water should look at three days first.
Manta Point is a drift along the reef with the current; sightings of mantas are never guaranteed and depend on tide and season. Sebayur is a beach and reef stop, and Taka Makassar is a sandbank that shows only at low tide. None of the three is a dragon or a viewpoint stop, so the walking highlights survive the cut.
What you keep is the part most guests name first: Kelor, the Kalong flying foxes at sunset, the Padar ridge, Pink Beach and the Komodo walk. What you give up is slack. Two days put a long list of stops into a short window, and the captain decides on the day how long each one gets.

A private charter includes the boat, crew, meals and snorkelling gear. The local guide and photo and video documentation are not included; they are available on request and quoted separately. Park tickets and ranger fees are never part of a fare.
No shared 2D1N exists, so there is no per-seat price to compare. Prices are as listed on the 2026 rate cards; 2027 is on request.

Flying in for a short break
Land in Labuan Bajo on the day before the boat. Flights from Bali take about 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes. Check the airline's current timetable. A delayed aircraft on the morning of departure costs you the first stop.
The return day is where a short trip needs care. The drop-off time of around 12:00 applies to the 3D2N, so for a 2D1N the time you are back at your hotel is agreed in the written itinerary. Book your flight home after you have that document, not before.
The boat starts in Labuan Bajo, never in Bali or Lombok, and a two-day trip is a long weekend that begins on land with a hotel night.
From two days to three
The step from two days to three is Manta Point, Sebayur and Taka Makassar, and a longer day 3 that ends with the drop-off around 12:00. It is also the step that opens the shared trip: every Friday, from IDR 4,500,000 (≈ USD 276) per person for a Sharing Cabin bed.
If the party is 14 guests and the budget stops at a private 2D1N, price the 3D2N on the same boat before you decide. The whole-boat band prices for all three boats sit on the 3D2N page, next to the shared fares, so the two can be read side by side.
A third day also changes the pace. Day 3 of the route holds two snorkelling stops, then the drop-off in Labuan Bajo around 12:00, with a flight home after 14:00. A 2D1N has no such slack, and the captain decides on the day how long each stop gets.
FAQ
Can I join a shared trip for 2 days?
No. The shared trip is 3 days and 2 nights, every Friday, on all three Kanha boats. A 2D1N exists only as a private charter, where the whole boat is yours and the stops are agreed in writing with the captain and our team before you pay.
Which boat is best for a 2D1N charter?
Kanha Natha suits 4 to 12 guests who want the quiet boat. Kanha Loka and Kanha Citta suit larger parties, priced to 10 guests with a per-guest add-on up to 20. We book Natha for up to 12 guests.
Is the guide included on a 2D1N private charter?
No. A private charter includes the boat, crew, meals and snorkelling gear. The local guide and photo and video documentation are available on request and quoted separately. The shared trip is the one that includes the guide and documentation. Tell us on the first message if you want either, and we will add them to the quote.
Are park fees included in the 2D1N price?
No. Park tickets are never part of a fare: IDR 250,000 for international visitors, IDR 50,000 for Indonesian citizens on weekdays and IDR 75,000 at weekends. Ranger and pier levies are paid separately and can change, so we list them in your quote.
